You doubt the existence of “forever”. Promises are rarely made, if not, expected to be broken. Texts aren’t the same. Falling asleep on the phone isn’t the same, either. Everything you once did with your ex will inevitably be compared to the next. And most of the time, it isn’t any better. This is why it’s hard to fall in love again after every breakup.
